During the summer months, the nightlife on Waiheke comes alive with a friendly and festive atmosphere. There are a range of bars and pubs to visit on the island including Sand Bar and Island Queen in Oneroa, Waihetian in Surfdale, an Irish pub and sports bar in Ostend and DJ's are regular entertainment at Harbourside in Matiatia.
